Gemstone Details:

Jade is a rock that has been prized for over thousands of years. In the ancient times, Jade was crafted as beads, figurines, weapon handles, armor plates, vases, jars, and even jewelry. It can come in a variety of colors, most commonly known in shades of green. It can come in yellow, white, pink, brown, black, purple, red, orange, blue, and gray. Perhaps the most valuable of all the Jade, is a candy apple green variety known as "Imperial Jade." Another member of the Jade family, Nephrite is a slightly softer material. Usually comes in oily green to a spinach green.   Jade has the mineral hardness of a 7, making it suitable for all types of jewelry.
